CORY was born in Miami, to Dominican parents. She left Miami when she was eight years old and was educated abroad. She gained her Bachelor of Arts, Music, Literature, and Sciences, as well as her
Bachelor's Degree in Translation and Interpretation, (English, Spanish, French), at the University in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. CORY'S versatility is outstanding! Her recordings include Ballads, Boleros, Merengue,
Salsa, Christian/Gospel, Dance/Pop, Disco, Jazz, Hip Hop, Soft Rock, R&B, and Rap. Her "Live" performances in Concerts and TV are breathtaking! As a Songwriter, CORINNE OVIEDO, is very well known in the Latin
Market. Her music has been played throughout the world, recorded by such famous Artists as Oscar de Leon, Lalo Rodriquez, Andy Montanez, Frankie Ruiz, Eddy Santiago, Tito Nieves, Hector Tricoche, Wilfrido Vargas, just to
mention a few. In fact, her song "QUE SERA", performed by Wilfrido Vargas was featured in the movie "OUT TO SEA" with Jack Lemmom and Walter Mathau. She has written and performed numerous commercials
(Jingles) for Radio and TV, in English and Spanish, for all Latin America, Brazil, Spain, Puerto Rico, and all over the United States.

Artist's albums/CDs, especially because of her "3 1/2" octave range. CORY has won many prizes in International Song Festivals, with awards, such as, "Best Singer", Best Interpretation", Best Song".
She has been nominated as "Author" and "Composer" of the Year, and awarded as "Songwriter of the Year" for two consecutive years in the "Internacionales Premios Flamingo" 1998 and 1999.
